PBIM 2018

After 5 years.... I am back to make a try on the full marathon category of the Penang Bridge International Marathon again. Not really well trained this time and I did not prepare myself to run under the stress. One month before the game, I was asking myself whether should continue for the training as it is hard to be well trained base on the limited time, but still with all my friends encouragement, I still try to shoot for it. 😊

This round I can't complete the run again. Leg cramp at 13 km and no choice but have to pull aside. In the end, I decided not went up to the Penang bridge with this condition. My brother is so kind to come all the way to pick me up at the Jalan Perak. One the way back, the rain started to pour heavily. On the second thought, luckily I did not choose to continue that time. Anyway, this failure is kind of motivate me come back again this year to conquer this route.

Charity Red Socks Run 2018

After stop joining any running event since two years back, I am back again. This is a charity run which involves a 5 km short distance of running. My company make the donation for this event and I do the running part. Sounds good ? 😄 

Free World Cup 2018 LIVE!

I am not too sure whether you guys experience any difficulty to find an online website that have World Cup 2018 LIVE. All the while I have been using the TV1 /  TV2 Malaysia online channel to watch the World Cup 2018. The online TV channel have a special link named "world cup". The link actually stream the live World Cup from various foreign country's TV channels. Most of the commentators sound like Arabian or Japanese. The video quality is not great but it is acceptable for me. Just in case you guys need it for the last two matches of this round WORLD CUP 2018, below is the link. 

Opps....... I just checked out the schedule and TV1 Malaysia actually have live telecast for the World Cup final! Just tune in to the channel, then you will be able to watch LIVE~~

But I have one serious problem. Where to watch WorldCup Live for FREEEEEE?

Without relying on Astro and mamak, this year TV1 & TV2 do have World Cup 2018 LIVE for limited matches. It is great! I believe this could help our local TV channel to boost? increase? break record? of the "view rate". 😃 So, one question is where can I find the schedule? I search around and found the list below. Dreamz Runner is back!

After three years, I am back to this blog again. It has been a long time I did not join any marathon competition. Even though my company is sponsoring for Penang Bridge International Marathon every year, but still I did not sign up. Due to laziness and lack of personal time, I just stop joining any marathon competition. Although I do jog once or twice per week, but jog for fun does not push your physical to the limits.  

Looking back to all the marathon competitions and results, I probably should improve some of my PB as well as maintaining my physical fitness level. Let's do it this year! Not to pin point on the amount of marathon competition joined but focus on the quality training and increase the variety of outdoor activities. 

I believe I did not join any marathon with this shoes before. That's probably the reason why it is still surviving after two years in service.

PBIM 2014 @ The event

The only marathon I run this year, Penang Bridge International Marathon 2014. This year event set on the Penang 2nd bridge. New venue and a huge amount of people joining make most of the thing not ideal. But personally, I am lucky that running half marathon, and reach the finishing line slightly earlier, so less crowded for me to get food and place to rest. Personally I am cool with most of the thing, except too crowded at the starting line.

Running is something about passion

It had been a long time I didn't update this blog. Any reason? Am I not joining any marathon already? What is the new interest lately?

Well, I still run marathon. But the frequency had drop to one year once. Just because most of the marathon competition now is too commercial and require BIG BUCK to join. May be some people will say that, "Hello, RM60 for a match is normal! Now all the price had rise!!" But for me, I still live in the good decade that a good half marathon event just cost me RM35. Since I join marathon on 2011, within 4 years time, marathon become a popular game now, and at the same time it also become a good opportunity for event organizer to earn money though. 

Nothing about good or bad. Just my personal choice not to spend so much money on this game. Or may be I should set an aim that, get some prize when joining the same. So, that it can cover the expenses? Still.....
